What are Stripe payments?
Doorling uses Stripe for payments. You connect your Stripe account, even a brand new one, and from then on guests pay online at three moments: the tourist tax and extras during online check-in, extras ordered from the guidebook during the stay, and bookings from your direct website, paid in full when they book. They pay on Stripe checkout, by card or with the wallets active on your account, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
With ULTRA Doorling takes no commission. With Check-in and PRO it takes 2% on bookings from your direct website, and with Check-in also 1.5% on extras. Otherwise you only pay Stripe's standard fee, around 1.5% plus 25 cents per European card. The money goes straight to your account, with no escrow and no middlemen.

How Stripe payments works
You connect Stripe
Sign in to Stripe in three clicks, with a new or existing account. Doorling never sees card details.
Check-in collects the payment
During online check-in the guest pays the tourist tax and extras, and during the stay they can order more from the digital guidebook.
Bookings from your website
Anyone booking from your direct website pays for the whole stay upfront on Stripe checkout.
Money in your account
Stripe pays out automatically to your IBAN, on the schedule you set.

Generally no, because Airbnb collects everything and pays the amount on to you. Stripe on Doorling is for the tourist tax when Airbnb doesn't already collect it, for extras paid during online check-in and for bookings from your direct website.
